Brandon Weil

Chief of Operations

I joined the Renaissance Reliability team because the vision aligns with my personal passion for helping American Manufacturing excel through the best in training, leadership, and reliability practices.

I have spent most of my career implementing reliability improvement projects and developing others through training and mentorship. During my time in the industry, I have served a diverse collection of clients including shipyard operations, food and beverage, automotive, pharmaceuticals, wood products, paper, data centers, facilities management, aluminum, aerospace/defense, and mining.  I have facilitated and coached all elements of Reliability Engineering and Asset Management and excel in business process reengineering, planning/scheduling, and organizational change management. I have also designed and implemented several blended learning program deployments including the development of creative exercises/approaches to set the training apart.

Before my career in manufacturing, I served 6 years in the United States Navy as a nuclear electrician aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C Stennis. During my time In the military, I learned the valuable lessons of operational process discipline, systems thinking, work management, demonstrating leadership regardless of rank, and the foundations of reliability.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Organization Innovation and am currently enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with Louisiana State University (August 2023 Completion Date) and maintain the Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation.

I live in the low country of South Carolina with my family, where I am afforded the opportunity to spend time as a dad and husband to my daughter Elsie and wife Michelle. I continue to be heavily involved with the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals where I currently sit on the Board of Directors.
