The RMIC is a six-month, hands-on Reliability Engineering and Manufacturing certification offered by Renaissance Reliability and the University of Tennessee – Knoxville (UTK). Designed for manufacturers focused on reliability and workforce development, this program equips leaders to establish and sustain a culture of reliability. Participants gain practical skills and experience through real-world factory projects and expert coaching.

The RMIC program prepares candidates for maintenance, engineering, and production roles with a flexible curriculum customized to individual and organizational needs. Our base curriculum is enhanced to align with your specific goals and required competencies.

The journey takes 9-months to complete, starting with 3-months of candidate and project selection. After a week-long kickoff at the University or a location of your choice, the six-month program begins. Participants complete online lessons and engage in regular coaching sessions as they execute their project. The program concludes with a case study highlighting their achievements and results.
